Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Instructions for setting up the Microsoft Authenticator App and how to sign in using MFA are available in the Handouts section of this page.

Securing your personal data is a high priority for Charter Oak State College and we require you to secure your account access into our IT systems using multi-factor authentication (MFA). A new law is in effect requiring educational institutions to implement MFA for all students, faculty, and staff. This requirement also decreases issues with spam emails and phishing attacks.
